Welcome New Leaders!
New troop leaders are supported by their fellow volunteers, service unit team members, and GSOSW staff at local service centers. The SERVICE UNIT is the primary support for Girl Scouts in a given area. It is made up of administrative volunteers (service team members) who are appointed annually to recruit, develop, and support Girl Scout volunteers in the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. The team also helps organize multi-troop events and campouts, and increased community visibility.
